Volume 2 : Dream

Submissions Open

Outcast looks for literary works that challenge the norm and break boundaries. We want thoughtful, inspiring and daring queer work.

Outcast publishes LGBTQ+ folk and anyone interested in queer literature and art. We enjoy cross-genre, intersectional, marginal and transgressive work.

About the theme
~ Dream ~

This issue’s theme is Dream. We want you to reach for the stars and spin us a story about your dream. We want you to tell us about a dream you had, or a dream you have. We want dark, we want mysterious, we want light, we want heartwarming.

What kinds of dreams are allowed within our marginalised community?
What does it mean for someone to have a dream in the face of hate and prejudice?

We all dream, but what are your dreams made of?
Are dreams just illusions or do they have a link to reality?

Give us your take on Dream and wow us with your creativity.
