Yolanda Barton
Yolanda Barton is a bisexual, femme-presenting poet based in Reading, UK. She has spent her life on the move across Britain and the world. She has lived in Nottingham, South Korea and Taiwan, all of which have strongly influenced her work. Her time volunteering in a Korean orphanage have shaped her worldview. She has also studied, and been published, at the University of Nottingham and Oxford. Her work has appeared in the 4th Blue Hour Anthology, Snow Leopard's 'Strength,' and Nothing Books' latest anthology for the Mind mental health charity. She was also May's winner of Wax Poetry's Monthly Humorous Poetry Contest for her poem 'Hated Terminology.'
